The Nepali Calendar, also known as Nepali Patro (नेपाली पात्रो), is based on the Bikram Sambat (BS) calendar system widely used in Nepal. It provides Nepali dates, English dates, festivals, holidays, and important cultural events throughout the year.
The Nepali year begins with Baishakh (बैशाख) and ends with Chaitra (चैत्र). The calendar has 12 months: Baishakh, Jestha, Ashadh, Shrawan, Bhadra, Ashwin, Kartik, Mangsir, Poush, Magh, Falgun, and Chaitra.
